  4. Up to 32 blinds may be made.

  8. The Blinds icon on the icon bar may be turned off
  9. by altering a line in the !Run file.
  10.  
  11. Normally :
  12. If "<Blinds$Icon>" = "" Then Set Blinds$Icon On
  13.  
  14. To turn it off:
  15. If "<Blinds$Icon>" = "" Then Set Blinds$Icon Off
  16.  
  17. This may be done even when !Blinds is loaded.
  18. E.g
  19. An OBEY file issuing the command:
  20. Set Blinds$Icon Off
  21. will turn it off.

  23. An OBEY file issuing the command:
  24. Set Blinds$Icon On
  25. will turn it back on.

  27. If you look within the !Blinds application.
  28. (Hold down the Shift key and double click on the !Blinds
  29. application).
  30. You will see two  OBEY files, On and Off.
  31. Each turns the Blinds icon on the icon bar on or off on
  32. command as mentioned above.

  36. A future version of Blinds will offer a optional 
  37. password protection system to prevent a user entering
  38. the editing mode.

  42. The full version of Blinds also has the ability to save
  43. the Wimp icons sprites used by applications when the user
  44. saves the default set up file. This drastically reduces the time
  45. for a computer to boot up as all the icon sprites would come from 
  46. the one sprite file and not a large number of different locations. 
  47. This option is particularly useful for persons operating a network 
  48. system.
